We finally made it to spring break!!! For my 14 days off, I spent a few of them at home shadowing a local veterinarian. For the remainder of my break, I took a Greyhound bus to New Jersey to visit Michelle and her family! It was a great trip.

On the leg of my trip from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, I sat right behind the driver. Here we are on our approach to Breezewood, PA (which, for the record, is one of my most favorite places in the world, I've been there a total of 4 times now, I think).

Isn't it pretty? This is the same bus I was in when I took the above picture. It's a big critter, isn't it?

I finally made it to New Jersey after 12 hours on the bus. One of the first places Michelle and I went to was Ocean City, NJ ... which is really close to Atlantic City, but much cleaner and nicer. According to Shell's mom, "it's the way Atlantic City used to be." Here's a shot of the beach and the boards.

It was a little chilly that day, but I just HAD to get in the ocean ... here I am on the beach ... don't you just love how level the horizon is? I think that's from the gravitational pull of the full moon ... or maybe just a lousy photographer?--nah, couldn't be.

This is a shot down the boardwalk at Ocean City. It sure was beautiful that day.

On our way back from Ocean City, we stopped at the one, the only ... a WAWA!! (which means "flying goose" or something like that in a native american language, or so I'm told.) I'd heard Shell talk about these things, and I was quite skeptical of their existence, until I saw one ... and now I'm a believer!

One night, we got together with some of her friends ... and here they are at the "universal hang-out," Denny's. From left to right we have PJ, Michelle, Travis, and Chris.

After we left the restaurant, we were a little wound up, and for some reason, PJ felt the need to shoot at Michelle and me ... don't ask, because I don't even have a clue.

I'd have to say, one of the coolest things about Michelle's house is her trampoline. Shortly after this picture was taken, I landed on my head, and that's not a good thing to do on a trampoline. But it was a lot of fun though!

This is Travis's house, he lives in Port (you know, where your mother's your sister and your father's your brother). Isn't it the ugliest thing you've ever seen?? And get this, he actually was an instrumental part of the design and decor. Kinda makes you want to throw up, doesn't it? Ick.

Here is a picture of the Atlantic City airport, and noooo, there aren't any nukes there, no no no, what would make me even say that?

*sigh* After a long trip, it was finally time for me to leave. Here I am with Michelle waiting at the Philadelphia Greyhound station.

Although I don't have any pictures of this, I just want to tell you, the bus driver got lost on my way home. I ended up going from Pittsburgh to Columbus via Akron, Ohio, only 3 hours out of the way. But it was all good in the end, Greyhound refunded my trip. :)
Would you like to see what I've been doing so far in my 1999-2000 school year at the University of Findlay? Well then go right ahead!!
